ANSYS Acquires Delcross Technologies
ANSYS has acquired assets of Delcross Technologies, a premier developer of computational electromagnetic simulation and radio frequency system analysis software. The acquisition will enable ANSYS users to understand how antennas interact within their operating environments and how this behavior affects the system's overall ability to transmit and receive data without interference.

Thermal Management with ANSYS Multiphysics
September 22 at 4:00 p.m. EDT, 8:00 p.m. GMT
Thermal management is an important design consideration for many products. Examples of thermal management issues include how to remove heat efficiently, how materials deform due to heat, and the impact of thermal cycling on durability. Failure to control heat can lead to major performance and safety problems. In this webinar, you will learn how ANSYS multiphysics simulations can help you to understand thermal management issues and how they impact the performance of your new product before you build a single prototype.

Lightning Strikes Airplane –
Clever Engineers Save the Day
It is estimated that each commercial airliner will be struck by lightning on average at least once per year. Physics-based simulation has a key role to play in the overall design process. Learn more in this blog post by Rob Harwood.
Solving the Impossible
SGI, in partnership with ANSYS, enabled ANSYS HFSS to perform larger, more-complex electromagnetic (EM) simulations. These simulations, previously impossible to perform, eliminate the risk of simulation failure and lost time due to insufficient computing memory, enabling users to perform more simulations in less time. Read the white paper or watch the webinar.
