ANSYS, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Maxwell 15.0, available now for download. ANSYS is also pleased to announce an improved Maxwell packaging structure that will become available at the release of its version 15 service pack in March 2012. Maxwell changes were implemented to provide enhanced low-frequency electromagnetic design capabilities to address the increasing needs of our customers in the multiphysics design where electromagnetics are involved.
New Licenses Required
Maxwell customers must use updated license keys when installing the first service pack version of Maxwell 15.0. To utilize this new functionality we ask that you contact your local ANSYS representative on or after January 10, 2012 to request a new license.
Maxwell Plus Simplorer Users
There will also be changes made to the Simplorer product licensing available on January 10, 2012 that will require an update to your Simplorer license file. When requesting new Maxwell 15.0 licenses, please let your ANSYS representative know that you are also a Simplorer customer so that we may provide one update to all your existing license files.
