The GPU ROI Estimator helps you evaluate the benefits of GPU acceleration for your Ansys Fluent and Ansys Mechanical simulations based on your current hardware, license, and workload.
By entering a few details about your existing CPU system, simulation size, HPC license, and usage, the tool provides:
This allows you to understand the expected performance impact and helps managers quantify the business value and payback of investing in GPU-accelerated simulation.
Before continuing, please review and accept the Terms & Conditions.
Use of this Tool constitutes your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. By downloading, accessing, or using the GPU ROI Estimator ("Tool"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the Tool. As used herein, "You" means the individual using the Tool and his or her employer, and "Ansys" reflects the product name of Synopsys, Inc.
The Tool is provided to assist users in estimating the potential performance benefits, productivity improvements, and return on investment associated with the use of GPU-accelerated computing for Ansys Fluent and Ansys Mechanical applications. The Tool uses information provided by you together with benchmark data, hardware pricing estimates, and internally developed methodologies to generate projected results. These projections are provided for informational purposes only.
You acknowledge that all results, estimates, projections, and scenarios generated by the Tool are approximations and are not guarantees of actual performance, cost savings, productivity improvements, or financial return. Actual results will vary based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, hardware configuration, GPU model, CPU configuration, system architecture, software version, simulation model characteristics, solver settings, engineering workflows, system utilization, and other operational and environmental variables. The Tool does not account for all costs associated with the acquisition, deployment, operation, maintenance, or integration of GPU-accelerated systems, and such additional costs may materially affect actual return on investment.
The Tool is provided "AS IS" without any express, implied, or statutory warranty of any kind. Synopsys expressly disclaims all warranties, including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, or fitness for a particular purpose. Synopsys does not warrant that the Tool will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected. Synopsys does not warrant or assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any results, estimates, or information generated by the Tool.
You assume full responsibility for your use of the Tool and for any decisions made based on its output. You agree that Synopsys shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or loss of use, arising out of or related to the use of or reliance on the Tool or its results, even if Synopsys has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Performance results and estimates are based on Ansys Fluent and Ansys Mechanical benchmark models, hardware configurations, and test conditions. Benchmark data for Ansys Fluent is primarily based on version 2025 R2, and benchmark data for Ansys Mechanical is based on version 2025 R1. Any differences in hardware, software, configuration, simulation models, or usage patterns will affect actual performance. Hardware pricing information used by the Tool may be based on publicly available pricing, vendor estimates, or internal assumptions and may not reflect actual purchase prices.
The Tool is intended solely as a planning and evaluation aid and does not constitute a commitment, promise, or guarantee by Ansys regarding future performance, cost savings, or return on investment. You are solely responsible for validating any projected results prior to making hardware or software purchasing decisions.
