9. Trouble Shooting

9.1. Error #0x0001

References to ACCS related files are missing from EngineeringData.config file. To fix the problem, please run as administrator the file located at:

On Windows: > %ProgramFiles%\LMAT\ACCS\v2.5_WB22.1\Fix_EngD.bat

If the problem persists, please contact the ANSYS support.

9.2. Error #0x0002

References to ACCS related files are missing from SolverInventory.xml file. To fix the problem, please run as administrator the file located at:

On Windows: > %ProgramFiles%\LMAT\ACCS\v2.5_WB22.1\Fix_SolInv.bat

If the problem persists, please contact the ANSYS support.

9.3. Error #0x0003

The extension is not loaded automatically anymore. To fix the problem, please run as administrator the file located at:

On Windows: > %ProgramFiles%\LMAT\ACCS\v2.5_WB22.1\Fix_ACT.bat

If the problem persists, please contact the ANSYS support.

9.4. Error #0x0004

Missing environment variable. To fix the problem, please run as administrator the file located at:

On Windows: > %ProgramFiles%\LMAT\ACCS\v2.5_WB22.1\Fix_EnvVar.bat

Please reboot the computer, before trying again. If the problem persists, please contact the ANSYS support.

9.5. Licensing error for HPC

When solving using the distributed solver, it is saying that not enough licenses are available. Clean the following folders from the user account having the issue:
  • %TEMP%

  • %WINDIR%\Temp

And rename/delete the following folders from the user account having the issue:
  • %APPDATA%\Ansys

If the problem persists, please contact the ANSYS support.

9.6. Unloaded extension

The extension may have been unloaded for this particular user if no ACCS tokens were available. To re-enable it, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Project page of WorkBench.

  2. Click on the menu “ExtensionsManage Extensions”

  3. Check the box on the left hand side of the line with ACCS

9.7. Hidden ribbon in Mechanical

The ribbon in Mechanical sometimes is hiddenTo re-enable it, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Mechanical.

  2. Right-click on the ribbon and select “Customize the Ribbon…”

  3. On the right hand side list, check the checkbox next to “ANSYS Composite Cure Simulation”
